Amphenol become the first batch companies that got HDMI certification of USB Type-C to HDMI Alt mode cable assembly on Jun 21, 2017.
On Jan. 17, 2017, HDMI Licensing Administrator released HDMI 1.4b Alt Mode on USB Type-C specification. USB Type-C to HDMI Alt mode cable assembly in the specification allow HDMI-enabled source devices to utilize a USB Type-C connector to directly connect to HDMI-enabled displays, and deliver native HDMI signals over a simple cable without the need for protocol and connector adapters or dongles.
As a HDMI membership, Amphenol actively develop and provide many HDMI connectors and cable assemblies with high quality and competitive cost to market and customers.
